Culvert inspections will begin in mid-March. This is part of our Asset Management Program which will provide a proactive approach to improving the Town’s drainage system. Personnel from Billerica Department of Public Works and a hired consultant, Tighe & Bond, will be visiting stormwater structures throughout Town in March, April, and May 2023. This work will occur during normal DPW hours (7AM-4PM). You are not required to take any action; this notification is to keep you informed about the Town’s stormwater management efforts. Remember not to dump yard waste in ditches, swales, streams, or wetlands. This can clog the drainage system and lead to flooding, pollute our waterways, and harm local wildlife. Help keep stormwater clean.
