Spend a day cleaning up a road, neighborhood, town park or conservation land! We are looking for individual, group or company volunteers to help bring springtime sparkle to our town. Volunteers can check in at the Senior Center (COA), at 25 Concord Rd starting at 8:30 am where they will be given special yellow bags and equipment to be used for road side and park litter. Additional bags can be picked up ahead of time at either the DPW office at Billerica Town Hall, the Billerica Public Library or the Recreation Department Office.
On May 4th, when you are done cleaning your target area, call the phone number provided with the bags and let the DPW worker know where the bags will be located for pick up. After 1:30, the bags will need to be added to the regular trash collection of May 6 - 10.
