Posted on: April 23, 2019[ARCHIVED] Free Friday Films Return! - Outdoor Movie Fun This Summer
The Billerica Recreation Department has scheduled the 2019 Free Friday Films - outdoor movie series. Locations for these monthly movies will be determined the Monday prior to the show date in order to take advantage of different parks around town. Show times and locations will be based on park availability and time for sunset on the movie date. Weather cancellations or changes will be announced on the Billerica Facebook page or the Billerica Recreation Website : Outdoor Movie Nights
The first movie of the series will be Bolt
(PG). This animated Disney film about a dog who is the star of a fictional sci-fi/action show is scheduled for May 3 in anticipation of the opening of the new Billerica Dog Park on June 1.
Spiderman - Homecoming
(PG-13) will be the feature film on June 7 ahead of the release of the next Spiderman movie in July.
Disney's Moana
(PG) will help celebrate the closing of summer on August 2 and Space Jam
welcomes the start of basketball season on October 4.
