[ARCHIVED] Frost Street Stormwater Improvements - Work Starting

The Town will begin repair or replacement of certain sections of the Frost Street drainage system beginning Tuesday, February 27, 2018 with a scheduled completion date of June 29, 2018.  The project includes improvements of the drainage system in two areas:  Area 1 - from the property behind #22 and #24 Tower Farm Road southeasterly across Tower Farm Road and continuing on Frost Street to #7 Frost Street; and Area 2 - from #29 Frost Street through the existing easement area to Whittier Road and then to the outlet between #33 and #35 Whittier Road.  


Weather permitting, on Thursday, March 1, the Contractor will be closing Whittier Road between Tower Farm Road and Pratt Street. The closure will be in place between 8 AM to 5 PM. Drivers will be detoured to Frost Street and Pratt Street, please follow the signage and allow extra time. Emergency vehicles and school buses will be allowed through the work area.  Due to weather, no work is scheduled for Friday, March 2.  The closure may continue into next week.
