Dear Billerica Families,
As the summer approaches, it’s time for the residents of Billerica to come together as we continue to make our wonderful community clean for everyone to enjoy. For the past few years our Town has run an event called Clean Up Green Up and will be hosting this event again this year on May 6th 2017 from 8:30-2:00pm. We are seeking volunteers to aid in the beautification of our parks and school fields.
For over a decade, this spring time event has provided an opportunity for the residents and companies in Billerica to help the Town recover from the harsh effects of winter and prepare for a colorful spring and summer. Each year individuals, families and groups register to clear debris and trash from designated areas and plant flowers at Town buildings, parks, playgrounds, commons and public islands. Clean up projects could include picking up the litter in parks and playgrounds or along the roadside, in front of houses, or by your company’s grounds.
