ATTENTION BILLERICA WATER CUSTOMERS
The Drought Watch for our area has been upgraded to a Drought Warning. This declaration resulted from an August 12th meeting of the Massachusetts Drought Management Task Force which is comprised of state, federal and local officials. This declaration will remain in effect until water levels return to normal.
Effective immediately NO Outdoor Water Use is allowed at Any Time. Violators will be subject to fines and the possible termination of water service.
Exceptions to this are the watering of vegetable gardens and livestock by hand held hose only.
Due to extremely dry conditions we urge customers to exercise caution when using outdoor grills or fireplaces.
