For the week of August 15, the Contractor will continue with the installation of utility conduit crossings in the area of Charnstaffe Lane and the Shops at Billerica. A second crew is working on full depth roadway widening and reconstruction. Gravel road surfaces may remain for a few weeks.
Upcoming work includes milling of the roadway surface, which is anticipated sometime this week. The Contractor is trying to complete roadway permanent patching and paving (binder course) by the start of school in the first week in September, but the paving date may extend further. Top course paving will be placed next year.
On-roadway work will run daily between 7:00am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday.
