Travel and Tour Opportunities

A variety of Day and Overnight Tour opportunities are scheduled each year to give participants a chance to explore different attractions and experience new places of interests.  We will update this list periodically as we add or cancel trips.  Make sure you register early as all trips have both maximum and minimum enrollments with deadlines for both.


MARCH 3: FOXWOODS TANGER OUTLETS Round trip transportation to Foxwoods Tanger Outlets. Enjoy shopping at Michael Kohr's, Calvin Klein, Brooks Brothers, Nike, H&M, Kay Jewelers, Gap Factory Outlet and many more. $10.00 food credits and $5.00 slot play included.

MARCH 17: ST. PATRICKS DAY CELEBRATION Come join us for a fun day in Lincoln, NH in the heart of the White Mountains at the exciting Indian Head Resort! Celebrate Saint Patrick's Day while you enjoy authentic Irish food, green beer, and live music! Trip include Deluxe air-condition, lav-equipped motor coach transportation. Admission to the St. Patrick's Day celebration included with some free snacks included. APRIL 12-15: WASHINGTON, DC- CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL 4 Days/ 3 Nights (Thursday-Sunday) Accommodations at Greenbelt (MD) Holiday Inn. Includes (3) Breakfasts and (2) Dinners. APRIL 28: NANTUCKET DAFFODIL FESTIVAL As Nantucket prepares a very special welcome to spring, as the town and the island celebrate the bright yellows and oranges of daffodils! There are antique cars decorated with daffodils, as well as art exhibits, hats bedecked with daffodils. Its a wonderful way to cast off the gloom of winter and get ready for the warm, sunny days to come.  Round trip Coach transportation to Hyannis. Refreshments & Snacks served on board. MAY 5: 9/11 MUSEUM OR ONE WORLD OBSERVATORY Enjoy a trip to the Big Apple where you have the choice to visit one of two amazing buildings in the same spot! Choose either the 9/11 Museum where you can see images, artifacts and hours of video about the tragic day and learn about the aftermath where the nation showed its defiance in the face of terrorism.Or, if you rather attend the One World Observatory is a 102 story experience that starts with an amazing ride to the top. MAY 4-6: PENNSYLVANIA GETAWAY ADVENTURE 3 Days/ 2 Nights (Friday-Sunday) Accommodations include 2 night stay at Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District Hotel. Includes 2 full american breakfast buffets. JUNE 24: A MAINE ADVENTURE  Come and enjoy a day with us in THREE lovely Maine towns! Get a chance to stop and explore Portland, Scarborough and Kennebunkport with time for shopping along the way! And don't forget the delicious Lobster Clam Bake on the beach as well! Cost: $104 per person.

JUNE 27-29: A TRIP TO THE HUDSON VALLEY! Hudson Valley is a New York State region that stretches along the Hudson river from Westchester County to Albany, the state capital! This area is rich in farmlands, vineyards, and deep American history! Come with us to see some of America’s finest schools— West Point Military Academy and the Culinary Institute of America! JULY 7: NANTUCKET & MARTHA'S VINEYARD Nantucket, a tiny, isolated island off Cape Cod, features dune-backed beaches and has been designated by The Nature Conservancy as one of the last “Great Places on Earth.” It’s marked by its unpainted cedar-shingled buildings, manicured privets, wharves and cobble-stone streets lined with restaurants, steeple-topped churches and chic boutiques.
Martha's Vineyard sits in the Atlantic just south of Cape Cod. This longtime New England summer colony, a favorite of celebrities, encompasses harbor towns, farmland, lighthouses, and sandy beaches. JULY 14: THIMBLE ISLAND CRUISE The “Thimbles” have often been described as “a piece of the Maine coast that drifted into Long Island Sound…”. Summer excursion vessels plied these waters during the “golden age” of the Victorian Era. Twenty-three of the islands are large enough to be inhabited.
Approximately 85 homes, built mostly during the Victorian Era, are complete with widow walks, gingerbread trimmings, and genteel gazebos. Islands range in all sizes, and have spartina and pink granite with the larger ones boasting scrub pine & hardwoods, making the islands appear to be deceivingly tropical in nature! JULY 29: GLOUCESTER CRUISE AND ROCKPORT! Come along for a day trip to Gloucester, one of the most charming towns on the Massachusetts coast! AUGUST 14-15: RED SOX VS. PHILLIES TRIP Just 6 or 7 hours from Boston … and yet, worlds away! Come to Philadelphia– The City of Brotherly Love– for a Red Sox v. Phillies game right there in the city. You’ll also get a chance to see the historic landmarks in Philadelphia that are iconic parts of American history, like the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and the Rocky steps! AUGUST 18: CABBAGE ISLAND CLAMBAKE  5-1/2 acres of peaceful beauty in the heart of Linekin Bay. Enjoy panoramic scenes as you explore this quiet island.
