Billerica Recreation Department Parks and Playground Areas
PARK NEWS:
MANNING SPRINKER PARK REPAIRS SCHEDULED
Please be aware that the long awaited repairs to the splash pad border at Manning Park's Sprinkler Park has been scheduled and will begin shortly. Until then, the water playground area of the Park will remain closed. The public is welcome to enjoy the remaining areas of Manning Park including the Fitness and Story Brook Trails as well as the picnic groves and grills. Restrooms will remain closed until the summer attendant is on duty

MICOZZI BEACH -
Micozzi Beach is located at Nuttings Lake on the Middlesex Turnpike. During summer it is open seven days a week with lifeguards on duty. The facilities include a bathhouse, sand volleyball court, basketball hoop, tot lot, wheelchair accessible fishing pier and picnic tables. Special events are offered throughout the summer. A parking pass is required and may be purchased at the beach or the Recreation office. During the season, parking fees will be in effect with day and season passes available . Summer rentals of fishing rods, canoe and beach volleyball courts are available on an hourly basis. GOOGLE MAPS LINK
LAMPSON RECREATION COMPLEX
There are tennis courts, Basketball courts, whiffleball fields, softball fields and a football field. The courts are available for use by Billerica residents when no recreation program is scheduled, on a first come-first serve basis. Playtime is limited to one hour if others are waiting to play. The courts are lit until 10:00 PM during the summer.A new Skate Park openned in the fall of 2012. A playground is also located at this site. GOOGLE MAPS LINK
KIDS KONNECTION
Located on Andover Road, behind O'Connor’s Hardware Store in Billerica Center. This is a great play area for young children. Multi-level play equipment, picnic tables, park benches and gazebo. GOOGLE MAPS LINK
MANNING STATE PARK- Manning Park Map
Located on Chelmsford Road (Route 129), this site offers a cool place for picnics, a water playground and/or a walk in the woods. New Fitness Circuit equipment can turn that walk into a great exercise routine. During the summer there is a daily parking fee with a season pass available and good for both Micozzi Beach and Manning Park. Restrooms are only open when the attendant is on duty and parking fees charged. GOOGLE MAPS LINK
KOHLRAUSCH PARK
Located in North Billerica on Colson Street. The park has a children’s playground, baseball field; and walking track. GOOGLE MAPS LINK
PINEHURST PARK
Located on the grounds of the Middlesex County Sherriff's Training Academy located at 793 Boston Road. This small park includes a playground, basketball court and whiffleball. GOOGLE MAPS LINK
VIETNAM VETERANS PARK Vietnam Veterans Park Trail Map
Located on Treble Cove Road, this 200-acre Park offers 2 youth playgrounds, soccer fields, horseshoe pits, walking trails through the woods with nature observation, fishing pier, BMX Bike track, and many activities occurring on the site.
