About Us

In Billerica, the Town Clerk is elected. Some of the duties of the office include recording of all births, deaths, and marriages and issuing certified copies of same; taking of marriage intentions, issuing dog licenses, fish and game licenses; recording of Uniform Commercial Code Filings; Fuel Storage Registrations; record all official Town documents; keeper of the Town Seal; taking and keeping all Town Meeting Records and responsibility for all elections. Other such duties as prescribed by Mass. General Laws, the Town Charter and the general laws of the Town.
